My friend and I took a detour off the interstate and stopped in Oakley at this wonderful little diner. It has quite a history, having originally been McDermott's Diner in Massachusetts in 1939. We had a Millpond Halibut Sandwich and strawberry malt. You can see that we had the place to ourselves, jukebox and all. It was a little step back in time. You've got to take the opportunities when they come along.
