This is such a quiet little place, off the beaten path, that we never would have found it without the help of our Yorkshire friend. To get to England's tallest waterfall, you have to go through the Green Dragon (top two pictures) and take a little hike. I'm not sure what the round structure on the bottom is, but it adds to the mystique of the place. The waterfall itself is not so very big, but the secluded area is incredibly green and refreshing. This is a spot to put in my memory bank for those moments when I need a beautiful thought to keep me going.

I love all of the little differences you find as you travel new places. The bathroom sign just cracked me up! To dry your hands, you just put them in that empty space in the panel, and it comes on and blows them dry. I was infatuated with all of the stone fences throughout the countryside. They are hundreds of years old. The amazing thing is that the fences are just stones stacked carefully on each other with no sort of mortar at all. I was so charmed by this Gypsy style trailer. It reminded me of the one that Danny lived in with his father in the book, Danny Champion of the World.
