My new personal favorite is Star Tours, but expect a long wait in line. Don't worry, it's worth it. Pirates of the Carribean and Indiana Jones are still top of the list as well.

 

 

 

 

 

What can I say? It's hard not to love it, especially when you're with children. Truthfully, everyone is young when they're at Disneyland!

If you can handle crowds, this is a blast! My personal favorite is the Tower of Terror, but then I've always loved the Twilight Zone... There really is something for everyone. The World of Color show at the end of the day is an amazing spectacle.

Marble, Colorado

 

 

 

 

The town is noted as the location of the historic Yule Marble quarry along the mountains that began operations in the late 19th century, and from which the town draws its name. The marble of the quarry is considered to be of exceptional quality and has been used for the Tomb of the Unknowns, as well as for parts of the Lincoln Memorial and civic buildings in San Francisco. It was also used for the construction of the Equitable Building, a historically important early skyscraper in New York City.

The pass is located along the boundary between Pitkin and Gunnison counties, in a gap at the western side of the Elk Mountains south of Redstone. It separates the headwaters of the Crystal River (a tributary of the Roaring Fork River to the north) with the headwaters of the North Fork Gunnison River (south). The pass is traversed by State Highway 133 between Carbondale and Paonia, providing the direct route between the Roaring Fork Valley and the North Fork Valley. The approaches are fairly steep on each side, with an 8% grade. The approach on the north side has one large switchback overlooking the valley containing the town of Marble.

 

 

 

Hays Creek Falls, Colorado

 

 

Hays Creek Falls is two miles south of the village of Redstone in Pitkin County, Colorado. It flows into the Crystal River. Park along State Highway 133 at the sign which clearly marks it. The fall are a mere 50 yard walk.
